Well yes, but again, that comes down to schedule shuffling, as originally that was the final episode of Chapter 4, not Missing the Mark.

It definitely takes place after the first episode of MYM chapter 5, considering that’s where Misty changes her mane color
It was nice to get some comedic relief Poseybuse (and a very minor example of that), considering what happened to her in Ch 5 was no laughing matter
They’re connected more thematically than anything else. I think for the big plot points, Hasbro sends out a note to both teams, and then lets them implement it as they choose, or something like that.
