Heck yes! I wish more women would eschew tradition and make the first move, because it makes her at least 20% more attractive. It’s happened to me twice and it was a self-esteem boost even though there were no second dates with them. In another case, my first date with someone ended with her asking me for a second date, which allayed my fears that I had been to quiet.

The ‘man takes the lead’ tradition is so heavily ingrained into society that I’ve seen questions online to the tune of ‘I really like this guy, but he hasn’t noticed my hints. What should I do?’ and are surprised, but thankfully receptive to the advice about making the first move.
