Considering that nearly every time from Season Two onwards was seen as “One Step Forward, And Two Steps Back” to Spikes character growth: with Seasons 3-6 being the Seasons that had the writers treating Spike as less of a character and more like a personal punching bag to have misfortune and slapstick constantly happen to where Spike was barely allowed tto have anything or even get a proper moment to shine on his own, at least until the events of Season 6 when things finally started to turn around for him.

I don’t see the connection of not having Peewee back and being a Spike hater.
