Duh Wind Sprint, just flash Rumble when he flies a behind you next. He’ll completely stop complaining about you being his lead pony after that. Only a good wingpony can get a view like that. So that will satisfy him.

“I don’t care what Rainbow Dash says. I don’t care what ANY of them say. I’m no wing pony. Not yours or anypony else’s,” Rumble Nuzzle growled. He fluffed his wings as his wounded ego flared up again but Wind Sprint was unaffected by his aggressive show of dominance. “So do not even THINK about bossing me around. Do you hear?”
Wind Sprint had to fight hard to keep herself from smirking. Like it or not, Rainbow Dash had placed them together, two very strong fliers with Wonderbolt blood running in their veins. And with that blood came untamable pride, something that manifested in Wind as she forced her wings to stay folded to maintain some form of control.
Rumble could act like a wild colt all he wanted; Wind wouldn’t stoop to his level of immaturity. Instead she puffed up her chest and stared the larger stallion directly in the eye without blinking.
“I hear you just fine,” she replied, suppressing the sarcastic tongue her father had passed down. “Now let’s show these other recruits what it means to be a truly talented flier.”
