After taking Misty into his cave, the giant purple dragon grabbed a old medic kit and pulled out some magic bandages. Misty was still terrified of the dragon and closed her eyes as the dragon giant claws got closer to her. Misty slowly opened her eyes and saw the dragon gently holding her up while he put the bandages around her body, leg, and smaller bandages on her cheek and head “am sorry I did that to you…I didn’t mean to; I was just trying to stop you that’s all…guess I don’t know my own strength” said the giant purple dragon with a sad look at his face “It’s okay…I guess” said Misty still a little scared “But I must asked little pony, why are you with Opaline?” asked the purple dragon “Opaline? I uh…never heard of her!” said Misty in a small panic “Don’t lie to me…” said the purple dragon with a small growl “I say you talking to her with that magic necklace of yours…now tell me, why are you working for her…” said the dragon in serious tone well growling a little “I…I…” Misty looked down at her hooves sadly “because I want my cutie mark…and I feel like…I owe her…” the dragon took a second to look at her cutie mark less flank and looked back at her.

“You feel like you owe her for what?” asked the dragon “She saved me when I was just a newborn filly…she raised me and…” said Misty as the dragon looked into her eyes and saw nothing but sadness in them, the dragon gently used his point and middle claw to give Misty a comforting pet on her head and down to her chin. Misty got a little startled by then but strangely found it also comforting “Is Opaline nice to you?” asked the dragon “uh…well…kind of, maybe…” said Misty putting on a fake smile “you know Opaline is evil right?” asked the dragon “evil? Opaline is not evil! she just…a little cranky that’s all” said Misty once again putting on a fake smile, the dragon once again growled at Misty getting closer to her face “okay maybe she can be a little evil at times…or all the time…” said Misty nervously.

The dragon back away from Misty and took a moment to calm down before her looked back at Misty “am I guessing she making you do all her dirty work for her?” asked the dragon “well…yes…” said Misty “sigh…do you really want to do this?” “I…” “do you?” asked the dragon “no! I don’t want to do this! I don’t want her attacking my friends! or anypony for that matter…I guess I just want my cutie mark so badly and…” tears started to fall from Misty’s eyes “not that I have been that useful…I been failing Opaline for months now…I always hesitant or fall or trip over something…” said Misty as the dragon began to wipe her tears from her face “I think you fail and hesitant because you know it’s wrong, I believe your sabotaging yourself on purpose” said the dragon holding her chin up gently “I think your right…” said Misty “what is you name little pony?” asked the dragon “Misty and you?” “Spike, Twilight’s sparkle’s number one assistant and royal advisor…or that’s what I used to be called” Misty gave Spike a confusing look “Spike…where did I hear that before?” said Misty in her mind.
