I do get your points and it’s good to voice your opinions. I’m glad you can see other sides as well. Discord is at times flawed writing wise (although I think plenty writing in this show is flawed even if I enjoy the show but that’s a different topic) and very flawed as a person or uh draconequues.

However I still love the guy because he’s a work in progress who does want to be better and tries to help in his own chaotic way despite his many mistakes in the series.

its this and what happened during the season final for season 4 that leave me on the fence about how I feel about discord on one hand I think he was forgiven to easily at least during the events of season 4 plus his relationship with fluttershy is kinda of up in the air or at least not handled well seeing as it feels more like discord sees her as like a little sister on the other I do think he deserved his happy ending (and why what happened to him in G5 a slap in the face for him) and he’s not a bad character per say but I feel like this for spike and big mac and in their case its a combination of other things and people over hyping them so yea. Also I feel discord got away with this too easily again no one knows that he was at fault other then the mane 6 and the princesses.

True which is why he was called out for it and had to put himself in harm’s way to deflect a beam from tirek that could have killed him to free Starlight regardless of his intentions before any of the characters were willing to forgive.

Doesn’t mean what he did was not only wrong but stupid and he should’ve known better I mean I get why but he’s lucky that the other races were willing to move past their hate and help.
