Actually Sprout didn’t try to kill the main cast. He is a joke. A comic relief. He isn’t even a villain. Sprout isn’t supposed to be taken seriously. He did destroy Sunny’s home though.
I’m well aware of that.
Unfortunately we know that isn’t true. If this was anime or even a Disney fairy tale Opaline would die horribly. But as it is Sprout tried to rouse a genocidal mob and literally tried to kill the main cast. Punishment? Implied loss of job. Brutal.
