Yes but the place Is different
Both are tree rleated and opaline throne has a similar shape than twilight throne.
The mirror pool is placed where the map was.
Also the interior is somewhat similar but less cristally.

Nope canterlot is in another Place.
Opaline found that chest in the ruins of the Castle of friendship.
Kinda unlikely, as one map shows it to be near Grandma Figgy’s cottage (well, behind it). And Maretime Bay itself doesn’t seem to be close to Canterlot.
I still believe that her castle is an old and broken section of canterlot castle
