Background Human
CHS, Class of 20XX
This is impossible in the original Q*bert. The discs drop you off on the top row, while Coily eggs and other hazards spawn on the second row.
It may be possible in some of the sequels, like the 1999 PS1 version. Certain levels will drop you off below a spawn point (never directly on one) when you use a disc. But if you’re worried about Coily eggs, it most likely means you used the disc to lure a previous Coily to his death. And of course when that happens, not only does it clear all hazards from the screen, but the game (mostly) stops dropping new hazards until you land.
Maybe Button’s playing a particularly sadistic hack?
