Well the void that appeared in the middle of Maretime bay is something that discord himself would conjure up.
Wow, I supposed if it’s not discordant then yeah. Somehow, when ponies become genuinely hostile and violent, it isn’t chaos.
also in chapter one, I wonder if the unity crystal was causing chaos magic to appear, due to the ponies not getting along there.

good point, and considering she that did it to the magic, I’ll bet discord got upset at twilight for taking his magic too, after what he did in getting her in that princess position, even after giving her the pendent that tirek gave him, which once belong to his brother, this is how she treats him in return by taking his immortality?

The comic implies Twilight put the world’s magic into the crystals. Discord once took the pegasus crystal and his magic started glitching out. Not a good look on her.
umm actually his magic is possibly separate from other kinds of magic, remember the season 4 finale?
