Description

The narcissistic lover, 3rd person speaker incarnate, magic show enthusiast and rival to the purple one, Trixie Lulamoon. This is a redraw I did many years ago of my original Tirxie design, a time where I was starting out using and getting used to digital art over my more traditional art at the time.
Trixie, like Derpy and other big favorites, is a well loved and recieved character in the MLP universe. Her personality, loud mouth, magical abilities, rivalry towards Twilight, clumsiness, stubborness and 3rd person manner of speaking is something that’s difficult to not see when viewing anything about her. Not wanting to admit defeat towards Twilight she sought a dark amulet to one up her in another magical duel which in return possesed her in exchange for powerful magic that not even Twilight could master. My favorite line from Trixie during her second encounter with Twilight will always be “why are you laughing when you’re supposed to writhe in agony” (I butchered the line cause I can’t remember it completely, but it’s nearly on point) and it still holds up well for me up to this day. Now friends with Twilight (the pony version of her anyway) and best friends with the relatable Starlight.
In this Equestria Trixie lives in Canterlot and performs shows there through Celestia’s kindness to host them at special avenues. She’s also much more of a narcissistic prick like her EQ counterpart and does whatever it takes to humiliate Twilight..which always backfires and humiliates her in the end. She’s both Twilight’s friend and rival, but more of a rival. She’s as much of a headache to Twilight like Cozy is despite Trixie not being a villian, she’s just annoying. She’s like a goofy cartoon show character to many Equestrians and she got a few nicknames from the citizens and from Twilight and her friends like The Adult Circus (or TAC, describing Trixie as her own comical circus) No Blue Wonder or Twilight’s favorite, Peanut Butter Trix due to her obsession with peanut butter crackers. Trixie is able to appear out of nowhere which is one of the things Twilight doesn’t like because Cozy can do it too, even in her home. Whenever Twilight is sent by Celestia to check on Cozy to make sure she’s not up to anything she’ll sometimes send Trixie to check on the little demon. Entering Cozy’s home in Canterlot feels like entering through a demon portal, but she takes very well care of her house, baffling Trixie to see a smart child manage both a job and a home by herself with an adult caretaker staying with her.
Trixie won’t stop until Twilight is humiliated so she is on a quest for the best way to humiliate her or cast stronger magic than her without the aid of dark and evil amulets this time.
