Yeah, Danny and Surprise is the king and queen.
Danny was even meant to be the king in the later incarnations of My Little Pony, too. He has authority, he is resourceful, and everything, especially since he’s the one who created the Magic of Friendship because he’s the Original Brony. And he frequently saved Ponyland from various foes. C;

Ikr? The later incarnations of My Little Pony wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for G1. And I agree that older ones getting featured is a good thing.
I also expected that humans - particularly Megan, Danny, and Molly - and mythological ones would return in the later incarnations of My Little Pony, as well.

Yeah, I wish it would happen more often. G4 wouldn’t exist without the past ones, and G5 doesn’t deserve the ridiculous amount of hate it gets

Surprised that we never got a real ‘ending’ to this generation. I know they had that ‘G1/G4 Crossover’ comic… but always felt like IDW or someone could’ve done a giant-size one-shot that had this last final hurrah for these characters.
