TWILIGHT: Girls, remember when I accused you of making Cozy fail her test on purpose?
SCOOTALOO: Yeah?
TWILIGHT: It was all a lie. Cozy failed the test on purpose, and you tried to show her the ropes, but really, it was all a scheme, just to let you take the fall and make everyone think you were bad mentors. And I fell for it. You tried to tell me, but I wouldn’t listen. As Princess of Friendship, I should’ve investigated the problem, instead of jumping to conclusions.

It was more her doing. She let her petty ego blind her, just as before when she try to steal Queen Novo’s gem only to help the Storm King. All because she was more concern about saving her ego than preserving life.
