Actually no. She was in MLP:ANG

Almost all the background characters were shown in MLP:ANG or in the first series. I think it’s a good thing that the creators, instead of creating a bunch of characters without a story, use the same ones. It shows that something serious has happened, that even the population has dramatically decreased
