Description

….
“Be that word our sign of parting, mare or fiend!” I shrieked, upstarting—
“Get thee back into the tempest and the Night’s Plutonian shore!
Leave no black strand as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken!—quit the bust above my door!
Take thy horn from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!”
Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”
And the Moonlight Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And her eyes have all the seeming of a demon’s that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o’er her streaming throws her shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted—
Nevermore

Honestly, I’m just proud to have put the E.A.P. reference together from the just looking at the image and briefly glimpsing the first two lines of the description. I don’t even have the poem memorized, though I’m once more feeling like I should because of this piece.
Also, I love imagining her actually just sitting up there, looking down calmly throughout his/our tirade, and occasionally saying “Nevermore.”. Alternately, could be even better if this is a poem they both know and Anon is just waxing lyrical at this point in his rage at another damn pony being weird (there’s a unicorn perched all the way up on top of his door, in his house, for pete’s sake!) while Moonlight is chiming in right on cue to intentionally screw with him.
