Ending my birthday with a fighter plane simulator session which I did NOT expect the sensation to be so strong. This is how I ended up after the session

That’s a French fighter if I remember correctly. Also, I recently went to the Air Force Museum in Ohio and had a fuckin’ blast. Went in this simulator that spins and moves around. Got to fly an F/A-18 in the simulator. I shot down multiple planes and the best part, didn’t get sick. Get on my level! Jkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjkjk

Oh one of those, back in 2018 RAAF towed a Super Bug simulator to the high school that I was in as well. We physics/aerospace students had a go but only for like 5 mins and had to just fly as they instructed, the software was Prepar3D I think. Wasn’t even 18F that RAAF had, just a 18E with Aussie livery.
I tried to see if they would let me do cold start following a DCS tutorial but no joy, no picture inside the sim trailer either but it was pitch-black anyway. Afterward we got to try some flight gear on but again… average students will like it but not enough for geeks.

Yeah but the one I’ve done is another level. The simulator was a cockpit from the F18 Super Hornet which there was a big screen that covers all the front of the cockpit. It allows to make a full visual field so you can look around you.
What was crazy is that once I was immersed in the screen, I felt like I was in a real jet. I had dizzy when I turn, it took me a few minutes to get used of it but still.

Maybe he felt the pressure of High G for the first time
This normal when he fly a fighter jet for the first time, And he’s going to adapt to it about 1-2 weeks later

Well I guess some are more sensitive to experience conditions like 3D sickness?
Back in 2010 when I first played HAWX2, in a level with night vision and had to chase two Su-27 around I felt a bit dizzy but got used to it after playing that game more. (Totally fine nowadays in Ace Combat and War Thunder and actual airliners, haven’t got a good enough PC for trying out DCS)
