The shading and shapes are amazing!

First, sigh. Some of you are why we can’t have nice things like this wonderful drawing someone did and shared with us for free. Yes, there are … interesting choices in the anatomy … but it’s still pretty good for fan art and I gotta say I pretty much like it. The artist should do 100 more.

Second, if you think an image is being brigaded or systematically downvoted, a report is what you should make. Not a comment.

Third, if you want to talk about race issues or how much you hate/love Anime, get thee to the forums.

And, finally, I know it’s been a whole day and maybe some of you lack the mental capacity to remember how you have been posting on an image (I’m only insulting some of you, not all of you - if you choose to be insulted, then fair enough), but on any given image WE ASK that you please choose to post as yourself or anonymously. If you have been flipping back and forth, and choose to post again on this image, use the method you last used. If any of you keep trying to present yourself as more than one person in this thread, then you’re going to get a ban for sockpuppeting.

Equestria Girls is superior because there’s no way to fight over race when people are blue and purple. This is the exact thing Hasbro wanted to avoid by making them real ethnicities.

Nah, it’s kind of crap. The anatomy is all over the place. Superficially it might look ok, but a lot of the individual elements are slapped together without any apparent understanding of how they relate to one another. The downvotes are more likely the result of that than any racial agenda you want to attribute to “the site”.

Lol anyone claiming this site doesn’t have a problem with black characters isn’t paying attention. It’s gotten a lot better lately, but it’s still a problem.

Plenty of black interpretations of MLP characters get a high amounts of upvotes. It’s the Tumblr art style people hate, and I agree with them.
