This short was set during the song “This Is Our Big Night”. But there were some continuity errors caused by it. Twilight was already dressed for the Fall Formal before Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie instead of after Fluttershy and Pinkie. And then Fluttershy gets dressed after Twilight instead of before. And because of this, the animation studios were very different. This short was animated by Boulder Media. Who infamously animated the entire Summertime Shorts series as well as Rainbow Roadtrip. DHX Media, the same animation studio that animated the entire Friendship Is Magic tv series (except for the first season and the season two premiere) as well as the movie (along with Toon Boom Harmony), and the rest of the spin-off series of Equestria Girls, was also responsible for animating the first Equestria Girls movie. But this movie was released four years before the Summertime Shorts were released. So I think I could fix this by letting the entire Mane Six be fully dressed for the Fall Formal throughout this short.
