Discovery recently bought the company and they have been on a cancel spree. Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Charmed, Roswell, and many other CW shows were all cancelled and the first three so abruptly they just ended on cliffhangers because another season was expected. The first two were even advertised as the “season finale” instead of the “series finale”.
Discovery is cancelling movies (besides Batgirl they also cancelled a Scooby-Doo movie), they are cancelling tv series (there’s some cartoon called Little Ellen that they cancelled the third season even though it was complete), they also cancelled Close Enough, and they are merging HBO Max with Discovery Plus.
It seems every few days they are cancelling more and more things. Remember, Discovery was the same company that destroyed The Hub so it is an old enemy of this fandom.

It had Michael Keaton return as Batman. That alone makes it watch worthy.
