Pretty cool, right? I was thinking that talking to animals and making plants grow perhaps are two parts of the same power, but some people have rightfully pointed out that not all Earth Ponies seem to have the same connection to animals as Hitch.

After the atrocious amount of unpunished cheating Rainbow Dash committed waaay back in Fall Weather Friends, it’s damn nice to see an earth pony fighting back.
On another note, this confirms that earth ponies can summon prehensile vines to grab things, giving them a tool that serves a similar purpose to unicorn levitation. They can hold and manipulate things!
