Basic rule : When you meet someone with common interest, don’t get excited too quickly, as in reality, that someone are usually the people whom you aren’t close with, or not knowing each other by fate at all.
Knowing each other by hobby interest only works in schools (or sometimes universities), especially as classmates or fellow year students, outside of that, it NEVER EVER works.
People outside of school life have more defense mechanism activated, only meeting by fate such as job, going through living together are more likely to work, yet very low chance to have common hobby interest as well.
