Description

Decided to add Twilight and Fluttershy to the scene where Q/Discord says goodbye to Picard, Twilight, & Fluttershy for the final time. Which means this is the end for everyone’s favorite finger-snapping character.

That means nothing, my friend. As I said, Discord was inspired by Q. That’s why John de Lancie was brought on to voice him (originally they were planning on using a VA that could replicate John’s voice). But my point still stands: they are very different characters. Truth be told, Discord tends to be more mellow and empathetic than Q, especially post-reformation. You can’t argue your way out of that.
I was not trying to. I was just stating SOME similarities with them. And both of them were never actually villains, just always Chaotic Neutral.

Truth be told, Discord tends to be more mellow and empathetic than Q, especially post-reformation. You can’t argue your way out of that.

Just because one character was inspired by another character, even if both characters are portrayed by the same actor, doesn’t mean that the characters are one and the same. Q isn’t Discord. Yes, Lauren Faust was inspired by Q when making the character of Discord, but they aren’t one and the same. Aside from them being from completely different universes and one being humanoid with the other being a Draconequus, their personalities are very different. Also, the sources of their powers are also quite different as well (Q doesn’t use ‘chaos magic’, as his abilities come from his connection to the Q Continuum).
But they both tend to speak contractions sometimes in their speeches.
