I wonder if she is a ruler of a pony nation in the Pony world?
 
It seems “Principal” in the EqG world is a play of what “princess” would be in Equestria.  
Then again, Cadence was a “Deen” in the human world, in which in CPA could actually mean “vice-principal”. I wonder if Principal Cinch could be a powerful and tyrannical ruler somewhere in the Equestrian world. She’s almost like Emperor Palpatine in regards to her role and character in the movie, especially the way she treated Twilight as some sort of Darth Maul/Vader subject.
 
Cinch also mentioned about the school board when she considered reporting the stuff to it near the end of the movie. I wonder if the SB would come into play in the future? And who could be the superintendent?

Not nearly enough fanart of her, big meanie or no. Being a big meanie hasn’t stopped fan artists before (just look at all the awesome art of Tirek,) so I don’t see why Cinch can’t get some more love.
