Agreed, as much as I love the film we got, Pipp needed more development.

Exactly, she’s creative and can spark peoples spirt, but she has never hung with any of them, and they turned on her when they found out she couldn’t fly and was lying. A minute or two scene of her saying something like…
Exactly!! I always had the same idea too, that between the fans and the fellow celebrities, she’s never had REAL friends before.
A few extra minutes would have given Pipp the development needed for her to accept becoming a friend of the group, perhaps she realizes that she never actually had a real friend, just fans before.
Yeaaah, I think the movie was given a far too strict runtime. It shows with how Pipp is kinda glossed over and how rushed the ending is. I think a few extra minutes would’ve benefitted it a lot.
True, but I guess they had to cut it short due to time. Had they had 15 more minutes they could have had a scene of her talking to Sunny and Izzy and realizing how much she has in common with them, leaving only Hitch still cautious, then we go to the campfire scene and finally we see Izzy’s reveal of the letter and him finally understanding with “I want to do my part too.”
That’s true!! I only wish Pipp’s warming up to the girls had been more explored, as it felt glossed over. Especially compared to Hitch’s.
Exactly, and you can tell why he gives in and joins Sunny, especially after that quote “Do they look like enemies?” and Pipp herself was finally warming up to the other girls. That’s one other great thing is that both he and Pipp don’t immediately do a 180 and join them, they are reluctant at first.
Yeeees, I like to think that’s one of the reasons why he was so wowed when he first saw Pipp. Not JUST because he loves music, not JUST because she’s talented, but because she didn’t look the least bit like he was taught pegasi looked like. He sees a pegasus who is graceful, elegant, fluffy, beautiful~ 😉
So true, all those propaganda movies and posters showing them to be like vultures and callous creatures, only to find that they are no different than Earth Ponies, and many like Pipp are smol. :)

Oh yes! It’s no wonder she has such a big following, not only for her singing but for her cuteness. Hitch would cuddle her and nuzzle her wings!
