Pretty rare for Pinkie to be snarky, but she does have a point: Twilight has very often suffered from tunnel-vision when she becomes really focused on an objective, and fails to see more reasonable alternatives until it’s too late. Still, the rest of the Mane 6 haven’t been immune to this, either.

Still, it looks like this episode’s experience was an eye-opener for Twi, since the very next one had her planning the Summer Sun Celebration with a calmer attitude and a more organized way of running things. The way she treated Pinkie made her realize how dangerously close she was coming to alienating her friends, and she couldn’t keep going on like this if she was going to rule Equestria.
