Exactly. You cannot dismiss Discord’s jack*yay*ery to chaotic quirkiness. That does not excuse him sending Twilight’s friends on a wild goose chase so he could be a menace to the school of friendship. Nor does it excuse him bringing three dangerous criminals together and abusing them to ensure they work together to attack Twilight knowing fully well they’d lose at best or die at worst (as seen with Sombra). The only thing that comes close to a fitting punishment for him is his immortality as he can never see his beloved Fluttershy again. Even then, it will never make me forgive him as the ends he wanted NEVER. EVER. Justify the means.
