Description

The Thai cinema chain Major Cineplex has been advertising a G5-themed popcorn bucket on one of their Facebook pages, suggesting that My Little Pony: A New Generation will be released theatrically in Thailand. However, there isn’t a release date for the movie on the Major Cineplex website.
 
Most of the release dates shown on their website for upcoming films are several months later than the respective US theatrical release dates, so the G5 movie might have to wait a while as well (if it does get released, that is).

For any Thai Horse People out there, absolutely go get that popcorn bucket because you can sell it for Big Money online despite international shipping. I got an extra full set of of the cornbucket and drink-topper figures from MLP: The Movie and it sold at a convention literally before I finished setting up my table, and had half a dozen people tell me they would’ve paid twice what I sold it for.

It might be released, but due to the spread of the virus it might as-well have to wait for the release date. Therefore I’m still watching it on Netflix, But i live in Thailand.

That’s a really good deal, if you do a direct comparison to US (1 large popcorn & 2 drinks). Considering just the popcorn would be about 8 dollars.
