Well, if that's the case, this should be part of the G4 continuity not an entirely new one. It's "A New Generation" after Twilight Sparkle's generation(and many others) but still within theG4Friendship is Magic continuity. Just like Transformers Beast Wars is a new generation within the Transformers G1 cartoon continuity.Though, maybe the Transformers definition of "Generations" doesn't apply for MLP.
