ok first of all: i love drawing birds so much so jot that down. second: my favourite hybrid style combination of griffon and pony is bird head and completely pony (four hooves) body.

Bookworm (Twilight x Gilda)

Again, inspiration from Twilight’s somewhat forgotten pet owl Owlowiscious. The commissioner asked for that specific design of cutie mark! I ended up drawing a LOT of moon cutie marks this round but that one wasn’t my idea. I think this guy might be my favourite but obviously I’m biased on such creatures…

Commissioner asked me to add the hair, so I also added a little design note so his owl tufts don’t get lost. they’re VERY important.
Candi Floss (Pinkie x Gilda)
y’all have seen them in the adopt auction but posted here for continuity purposes
The friendly horse-bird child of Pinkie and Gilda, Candi works making treats at the local carnival and loves sneaking the kids free treats when the boss isn’t looking. She’s based off a galah cockatoo, and has a very, very loud singing voice.
Peacock Feather (Rarity x Gilda)

what to say about this guy!! he’s a peacock. I was originally going to do a white peacock but I couldn’t quite make it look right, so i went with a standard peacock. I miss these guys, I used to see them in florida sometimes and they’d try and attack the cars. I think this guy makes avocado based dishes for a living, his CM reminds me of an avocado
Seaside Snack (Trixie x Gilda)

I based her off an albatross and seagulls who steal your french fries at the beach. I think she lives near/at a seaside pier/fairground type place, like Coney Island or something. Her cutie mark is a bucket of popcorn shrimp, her favourite snack.
