The design is cool, the colors match and it looks clean and thought-out. More unique OC’s should aspire to be like this, instead of an abomination of mismatched asinine colors and accessories.

I’d at least like to know the story behind the Alicorn OC before making judgement, especially if its well designed.
 
I like that the artist remembered the ethereal mane. Coupled with the headwear it almost looks like a feathered headdress in shape. Where as the color is… A star chart? Seeing those always reminds me of Homeworld.
