It’s true. As far as IDW is concerned, Time Turner is The Doctor.
The fact that IDW holds the various licenses for Star Trek, Doctor Who, and Ghostbusters (among others) could mean a lot of potential crossovers or at least gags without worry of trademark issues. (I suspect this is how we’re getting away with so many obvious not-subtle-at-all Doctor Whooves covers)
