Meet Sunshine, the daughter of Jelly Belly (“Whoa Nelly”) and Mountain Haze! Sunshine is the light of her parent’s life, hence the name! She is a cheerful, silly mare who embraces her inner foal and tries to bring out the same in others. She is a teacher at a Ponyville elementary school, even though she lives in Canterlot, and is considered very eccentric by school staff, student’s parents, and strangers. Sunshine prefers to teach classes outside, weather permitting, and is focused on what her students learn, not necessarily how they learn or that they all need to learn the same way (like plenty in the school system believe). She is a mare who encourages creativity, outside-the-box thinking, and being kind to others!
