Yup, essentially the limitation of gif is 50 fps but I mean 50 fps can still be classified under 60 fps because it’s close and it’s like saying 25 fps is 24
Though, I guess that’s closer together..
Why do I bring this up here, you ask? Because a series of 20 ms frames (the next-shortest setting) means you’re getting 50 frames a second. Therefore, it’s not possible (at least, in a fully supported way) to capture the majesty of 60 frames a second in a GIF.
Edited because: Smaller images.
Ah, I see.
I’ mainly did shit post gifs, and I animate frame by frame, so I felt comfortable doing it by 2 with measurements of 5, I just don’t want to put the energy into doing twice the work to do 12fps. But I tried to move into youtube video territory and damn, I just can’t handle that kind of pressure to even work in 15 fps. * head explodes *
I mean 12 is industry standard amount… so that would be okay for the most part
they blend 24 in small areas where they think it would be better… but for the most part, yeah, 12
It depends on the animation.. but for pixel gifs I feel like 12 would be pretty good and make it look more animation-like

it do be like that sometimes
anyways what made you think 10fps was a good idea? (not trying to be rude)

I use to animate my pixel gifs in 10fps. they be looking choppy as fudge smeared on a windshield wiper.
it was buttery smooth
