Maybe I’m completely off base here but the fact that these characters have not been revealed yet leads me to believe we are suppose to recognize them when they are revealed; why else do the surprise for completely new characters we have no way of guessing who they are. It’s not really a surprise if the reveal is just some bunch of randos who the audience doesn’t and couldn’t recognize. This leads me to one conclusion The Knights of Harmony are G4 interpretations of pervious Generation Characters.

Like its Wind Whistler, Galaxy, Fizzy, Patch, Bright Eyes, Teddy, Wysteria, Minty etc. etc. Its the only thing that makes sense to me right now.

We know grogar is a myth in g4 but I think he might be behind the knights of harmony in my theory

This does not make the saga of the G4 heroines unique, by “diluting” the whole concept that was central to S1-S3 where the Mane 6 originated and eventually become a central part of the story of the ponies in Lauren Faust’s book. This is what several people had reacted to, not just me. It was intended that the harmony magic - which has its background in the ponies’ ideology of a harmonious society - should be reserved for the ponies first and foremost. That was what Twilight had in mind when she started her expeditions to other continents, she wanted to spread the message of friendship and harmony to the non-ponies. This is the very essence of the lore of G4 with Faust’s own signature, even if it was only meant for a mini-world.

Whitley had been able to exploit a small opening created by Star Swirls pondering in the show about the harmony tree’s magical potential that was far greater than expected when he and the pillars planted the seed that would become the tree. In the show, it was the pillars that had planted the seed in a secret cave located in the same place as the castle where the royal sisters lived in the Everfree. We know that the magic in this place had controlled the wild forest up to the S9, when Sombra destroyed the tree and unleashed the forces of nature.

The fact that the harmony tree was planted by the pillars, has created a “lore conflict”, then one must rather bring up the logic that it is the place itself instead of the planting itself, and whether it was an older tree that was destroyed long before Star swirl found the cave that had a lot of crystallization.

I don’t see anything yet that conderdicts anything in the show. Having more trees of harmony is not really an issue and can easily be explained in a way that is consistent with what came before. Its as simple as the original Tree of Harmony knew it needed to have backups of itself after a while or it wanted to protect more than just equestria and spread it self out to create more trees elsewhere. Either though its root system or though seeds of some kind. If you go the seed route you can have them be carried by the ancestors of this Knights of Harmony group.

So the knights of Harmony are NOT the Mane 6 and the other “Mane 6 clones”.

Then it means that the scenario of worldwide civilization and a hidden fraternity that took straight from Archie Comics`s “Knuckles” - this is a reference to the echidna civilization that was the first and most dominant on Mobius - and to the “Brotherhood and Guardians” - created by the writer Ken Penders who managed the feat of ruining his work with his incessant lawsuits. Didn’t Ian Flynn, who had to spend many years cleaning up, talk to Whitley about this? The Sonic writer Flynn is also in IDW.

It is becoming an alternative universe, S10 can not be considered a continuation of S9. How could the script have come through without being either stopped or completely changed?
