Yeah, that surprise me too.
I mean, I want to give their girl characters the benefit of the doubt once I catch up with SMG4’s videos. Personally, I’m surprised fans didn’t make their own version of the poster that included the Mario characters with the original characters.

Well, I’ve recently watched their 10th anniversary video and looked at their poster and I have a feeling former fans will say “This is a good example of how bad the channel has become.”
That’s true. I like the Meta Runner series, and yes, I think the girls are not that bad.
That’s good. I hear so many people say that the channel has gone downhill ever since they brought up in their original girl characters. I’m not surprised that Luke and/or Kevin has interest in wanting to make their own original show as Meta Runner proved but I don’t think the girls are that bad, even though they should be making more attempts at being funny rather than being straight men (or women) to Mario’s antics.
Good that you like SMG4, and yes, surely their videos are not as bad as many say.
