I forgot if I said this already, but I’m only returning after finally rewatching the series again to admit something:
I myself thought things could have been interesting if the story of some early parts of G5 involved Pony Life’s Mane Six being transported to G5’s Equestria through a portal.
Of course, it was wishful thinking just because of the fact Pony Life ended on what seemed like a cliffhanger. Instead, A New Generation happened, which is intended to take place in the distant future of FiM’s Equestria.

So I finally watched the end of the show. And now I know the actual context.
 
Knowing he’s Discord, the whole situation with the ending is very ambiguous.

If the true ending is it all being Discord’s imagination, then it is one season too late.
 
Season 1 actually had a chaotic plot, with various inconsistencies and is all short stories. But Season 2 on the other hand actually had an ongoing plot that actually looks nice and nowhere near chaotic.

Almost a similar ending to Shrek Forever After: The Final Chapter.

For real? How many of we thought it was going to be Pinkie or Discord’s fantasy? I think many people got it right.

If this is truly the end, they can focus on G5.

It’s confirmed, that Pony Life is Discord’s imagery, the book was closed by him.
