I have three main reasons for why it can’t be actually Celestia on the throne if anyone is wondering one from Spice flashback you can see that that was Discord’s claw. With Celestia being burnt and bruised and cut that implies that Celestia fought against someone that can use Fire magic to the point of burning her. Which is impossible considering her solar element. That means that Discord is using his claw as an anchor for his Celestia transformation. When Celestia flooded the world in the prologue that was throwing the world into chaos something that Discord was want to do anyways. But the big part is that world that can’t be flooded just by melting the snow and ice in the North and South. There would still be Ponyville and all of central Equestria including the Everfree forest with just the amount of water there. That means that more water was added to flood the world. Now who do we know that can open portals to other realities where the world is already flooded? Discord baby

I’ve already figured out what happened to Celestia the one on the throne is Discord. Celestia as shown is wrapped up in the plunder Vines below the castle. Luna is in stasis similar to how she is in the time she was stuck on the moon and Cadence and Shining Armor are probably hidden away high in the crystal mountains.
