“I’m betraying you”
Another drawing inspired by Sharaloth’s Harmony Theory. I’ve been slowly re-reading the story and recently finished chapter 12, Invisible Connections, from which this scene is taken.
I took the liberty of drawing Dash in her true colors. Technically, her coat and mane would still have been dyed at this point in the story, but I really wanted to draw her rainbow mane since it’s been a while.
I normally try to avoid drawing ponies in a strict profile view, prefering a “three quarters” view that shows more of the face and feels more three-dimensional. In this case, however, it was a good camera angle for capturing emotion in Dash’s body language and for implying the movement of her head whipping back.
