An old enemy is returning to power to threaten Equestria once again. Now the fate of these lands fall upon the new fusions/alicorns to lead the nation and virtually the world against this darkness. How will the new royalty tackle these impending problems and threats while maintaining peace over their dominions.

Very true and something I wholeheartedly agree with.
Thanks, though I wouldn’t call them henchmen, but more like contractors taking up another job. Doing work as long as the pay is good and that some clauses can be met which in this case the hybrid changelings and their leader seem not to care about. In the end I find them to be a neutral species that can tote good or bad depending on whom provides the riches and satiates the appetite for wealth.
