More importantly, ponies don’t consider coat or mane color significant when it comes to the idea of “race”. Ponies have three races: Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi, and the show has given us plenty of examples of conflict and cooperation between them. Painting human racial politics onto ponies is stupid.
I was going to say the same thing. How about we just agree that ponies don’t have a human skin tone, and instead have their regular coat colours.
