@TwiNet
This is easily one of my all time favorite episodes and I absolutely love Pinkie in it!!!!! It has a great moral, great comedy, great animation and great characterization!!!!
@Spiritus Arcane
Thanks. I’m glad to see other people don’t just nag on Pinkie for this episode. I’ve seen syay like “out of character” be thrown around when I’d argue this is actually one of her most in character episodes of the whole show.
Nobody has ever explained why Pinkie Pie shouldn’t play her instrument poorly if that’s what she wants to do. Your criticisms are garbage. People have free will to do what they want.

Yes, if your life is made miserable by Pinkie Fucking Pie, you’ve got serious issues. The best course of action is to allow her to do whatever she wants, because she knows best and is the best pony ever.
The moral of the episode Was just because your friend was bad at something does not mean you should told them to stop It was just being told in the wrong episode
@Background Pony #B25F
Pinkie Pie is self reliant and the emotional backbone of the group 95% of the time. On top of that, if it was a “guilt trip” she wouldn’t have left without telling anyone (save Maud), she would’ve made a whole thing of it.
@Spiritus Arcane
Also, what do you mean exactly? Bad because of the way Twi and the others reacted? Or the “normal” opinion of the episode.
@TwiNet
and that excuses Pinkie being so needy and emotionally delicate that when told to stop doing something that’s making her friends miserable, she has a complete breakdown into depression and guilt trips them until they coddle her, give in and just allow her to keep making them miserable?
I honestly can’t believe that people hate on this episode. Yeah Pinkie was being annoying, but there were a million better ways they could’ve talked about the issue, especially regarding Pinkie’s established fear of her friends not liking her.
