Every planned theatrical film after the first quarter of 2020 was affected. NEW YORK Toy Fair has been canceled but HASBRO INVESTOR EVENT is planned for February 25 with DALLAS Toy Fair is still on schedule so far ironically taking place the same month of G5’s announced theatrical release. Also like the lurker said you don’t need a toy fair to promote a movie or guarentee toy recognition & sells. My job is linked with various retail and (toy)factory industries and production never grounded to a halt only temporarily slowing down at worst. Hasbro has had over a year to plan with months left to spare. Many people believe that this situation might be somewhat blown over by the end of the year. The pandemic has definitely effected the production of G5 but to what extent we don’t know. While a delay for 2021 is a very real possibility I don’t think it’s totally hopeless.

That has nothing to do with what I’m talking about. Every other upcoming movie from Paramount has been affected by COVID-19 except My Little Pony, so that puts G5 in the worst state I can ever imagine.

Do you mean the G5 movie gets pushed back to 2022? Because the G5 series has been set for 2022 for a long time now, not 2021.

I wouldn’t be surprised at this point. Idk what’s going on over there at Hasbro, but man they’ve been less talkative about it.

All three of them should have been thrown out the window since 2021 will probably have nothing and G5 gets pushed back to 2022 without warning.

While Equestria Girls like G4 Friendship is Magic may be over what fans of the spinoff series could more realistically hope for is G5 getting an Equestria Girls equivalent spinoff series.
