Excepting, of course, that Celestia doesn’t seem to have any idea who he is in the canon. “Your friend Spike sent me a letter”, in Lesson Zero.
Twilight hatched him,but yeah Faust said the Celestia raised him so…yeah,why not?
They do the opposite with Applejack in MLP. Only occasionally does evidence leak that she’s about twice the size of the other ponies.
