I have to agree with Vox on this one. For example, the “Matrix” plot in the final season of Eureka wasn’t “wasting the audiences [sic] time”.

As for it being a “cop out”, consider the fact that it wouldnt go from “all just a dream” into normalcy, it’d go from that into a Hellish world that’d have to be overcome. The opposite of a cop-out.
