I know I’m using a rather bad example (though I think some of them are good) but throwing consistency for the sake of making an interesting (read: sellable) spin off doesn’t seem so far fetched to me.
 
Of course, we still don’t know if any of this is real, but it’s fun to speculate. :P

Yeah I think this fandom is way to quick to be pessimistic based off one image with no real confirmation or reliable source. I don’t think this is real in my my personal opinion, I think nick Fury said it best when he said “ until such time as the world ends, we will act as though it intends to spin on”.

They are teens because this is made to appeal to teenage girls.  
They are just gonna throw out some consistency to apple they the demographic they want.
