But she’s so cute! And very scary when she’s mad…

If I speak anymore on the topic this whole discussion will go very left and not be well suited for this particular comment thread, so I’ll just say that I’m glad they’ve taken that stance and it does mean something to me, but I have personal views on the matter that are more complicated than I can get into here.
Aside from that, I enjoy the picture and what it represents, I hope everyone here is having a great day, I hope all that are celebrating pride are having a good time with it despite the circumstances with the world, and I hope you continue the good work being my favorite mod on this site (no shade to the other mods, who do good work in their own right)!
Edited because: Fixed typo
They have really made it one of their focuses:

Interesting and cool to know. I’m more cynical about corporations than you, I think, but it makes me feel good that so much of my money went to a company that ‘walks the walk’, so to speak.
Yup, that’s exactly what I had in mind with my comment. I think it’s important to remember that PR stunts are just that, but I’m old enough to remember when this kind of stuff never happened. I remember the first big PR stunts for pride being a huge deal, back in the 00s. And I’ve watched them become the norm since then. It’s been great to see, because even though I firmly believe Hasbro wouldn’t dare support pride if they thought it would wind up a net loss for them, the fact that they know it won’t shows the changing of minds very well.

I’m optimistic we’ll continue to see strides in equality. As you say, it’s becoming more common for people to come out of the closet, which makes us realize just how common queer people are. I think we’re a ways off from everyone’s rights actually being equal, but I do think we’re well on the track to getting there!

your current filter.It’s not just dollars, Hasbro has a lot of employees who are LGBTQ, and they want to support their teams. It’s a cornerstone of their corporate identity.
@Lurks-no-More
I hope equality on race and sexual orientation increases in the future! About the sexual orientation thing we may see more LGBT+ people in the next years/decades/centuries (because being inside a closet won’t be necessary anymore). Everybody’s rights will be equal!
“Equality” is poor choice of word here.
Oh wait now they’re not because I said something. :p
A gay guy on a forum I frequent pointed out that this is a sign of the queer folks winning: that big, faceless corporations see chasing queer dollars, and doing things like supporting the pride month, as profitable. And, importantly, that doing this is more valuable than what they may lose from angry bigots taking their business elsewhere. Things are far from perfect, equality-wise, but LGBTQ+ people are increasingly mainstream in America, and that’s a big deal. :)
All lives may matter, but money always matters more.
Yup. I like when large corporations remember that there are minorities that buy their products and decide to do something good about it.
They do tend to do something each year. It’s a large part of their corporate mission.
aaaaaaaand nothing. :P
It doesn’t exist?
