I’m sure trying to get them to talk about their epiphany would be another challenge of its own. Hopefully Twilight can help them with that.

Chosen Beloved: a term of endearment that is formed between a Changeling Queen/Proto-Queen and a Male Changeling of breeding stock.
 
Nymph: a young Changeling.
 
Chrysalis ultimately holds Starlight Glimmer and Thorax responsible for the supposed death of her personal family. She keeps this deeply hidden underneath a mask of anger at “Her Hive”, trying to bury whatever traces of distress and morose sorrow that threatens to creep its way into her heart that she would never get to hold her Nymph or to love her Chosen Beloved ever again.

Chances are that the reason why Chrysalis is so antagonistic towards the Ponies and her hatred for Thorax might be because she holds them responsible for the murder of both her Chosen Beloved and her Nymph (unaware that both of whom are still alive)

It would be nice if one of the villains brought up thier near epiphany on the mountain. It might give Twilight something to work with, like “Remember how good it felt to have others helping you, friendship isn’t a bad thing…” Clearly she’d have to work hard to drive that point home with Chrysalis, at least.

Chances are, we will see Twilight speaking with the trio, since none of them can actually do anything at all encased in Stone they probably surrendered themselves to their fate and are apathetic to try doing anything, even the presence of Twilight Sparkle trapped in their own personal hell does little to even lift their spirits in the slightest. The three of them feel like they have nothing else to lose so they would have no reason to try keeping things close to the vest any longer and be more open. It would be a way enough for Twilight to try learning about what set the three of them on their path, along with figuring out how to convince them that she is here to help them not as a Princess but as a Pony.

INB4: when the Mane 6 come in the dream world, they see Twilight, Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow having Tea Time.

(Though that was a beautifully written piece of dialogue right there. Caught her personality perfectly. )

I’m sure what they’ll see will shock them, but not in a way they’re thinking right now!

Its Twilight. She will have the villains locked in a classroom lecturing them on social responsibility, good manners and not to fold page corners as a bookmark.

The hell kind of ‘traps’ are they gonna set in their condition?

Cue scenes of Twilight, Tirek, Chrysalis and Cozy Glow skipping through a wonderous candyland of fluffy clouds, rainbows, living plush animals and mellow 50’s rock.

If Twilight is making any headway with the villains, I hope the Mane 5 dosen’t mess that up.

Imagine if the rest of the Mane six and Luna got turned to stone when attempting to get into the dream of Twilight Sparkle.
