Description
After playing in the mud for a while, Twilight returns to the others covered in mud and casually starts telling everyone about sapphires. She doesn’t mind getting dirty - in fact, she finds it to be fun. Timber also thinks she looks cute like this.
It’s been a while since I did a mud edit like this and took a few hours to finish it, but I hope you like it. I was inspired to do one of Twilight in her Legend of Everfree outfit after this.

Sunset - Anything with jeans, also her Legend of Everfree outfit and her Sunset’s Backstage Pass outfit
Rainbow Dash - Her original outfit and her new main outfit with skintight black pants
Fluttershy - Her original dress
Applejack - Her original outfit, also her outfit with the jean shorts in Street Chic
Pinkie Pie - Her Legend of Everfree outfit and her new “main” dress
Rarity - Her original dress, her Other Side outfit (both of which get wet in canon), and maybe her Legend of Everfree outfit

I guess it’s not if the background colors don’t overlap with them. But it still takes about as much time as it took to do this mud edit.
Is it really that difficult to cut them out? I’ve done it tons of times for my quicksand images and I haven’t had any trouble.
What are your fav outfits?
I might not be as good at Photoshopping them into a deep mud/quicksand pit, I’d basically have to cut them out of their background. I know I did this with Sunset and Rarity already in shallow mud pits but it took longer than this and sometimes the background’s color overlaps with their outlines.
Of course there are also times I’d like to put them in a bathtub too in my favorite outfits but I can’t recall if they ever show a bathtub full of soapy water but no one in it.

That would be fun to see.
Also, word of advice, try avoiding straight/sharp edges when it comes to fully coated pics.
