Mind sharing any links on that matter in PMs? I never actually knew that. I do remember reading up on how The US Army & German Wehrmacht worked together to fight the waffen SS. Which I never knew about until recently.

That is where you are wrong. I advice you to look up the article on Wehrmacht Heer soldies reacting to the atrocities the regime committed which they were unaware about in 1945.
You can be pedantic all you want. In the end such details are meaningless because they all followed the same monster and took the same orders.

You are uneducated. The Wehrmacht followed their generals and is the descendant of the Bundeswehr today. You are talking about the political branch of the military, the Waffen-SS, and the paramilitary units of the SS.
Split hairs all you want. They all followed the same leader.
Whoops, looks like someone need to lean the difference between a “master race” nazi, and the Wehrmacht Heer. :P
And yet they ended up waving the white flag, just like every other ‘master race’ throughout history.
Why is that? The Afrikakorps proved more skilled than the Allies in Africa. ;)
