I couldn’t quite get my Windows 95 virtual machine to play nice, but I have my PC configured to support my CRT monitor anyway.
My only complaint is that there isn’t NEARLY enough <marquee> on this site.

your current filter.Yep, that one! :3
Dell CRTs from that period are some of the best from what I’ve heard. If you do get it out of storage, be sure to clean it first (carefully) to be safe. I’ve heard that super dusty CRTs can be fire hazards.
Oh I would never part with my 1080p flatscreen, I’m just saying I love 90s computers and run a lot of older programs from that time period on my two modern machines, so a CRT monitor would probably be a good investment.
That or I could try and find my old black Dell CRT from 2003, that last time I left it had a sticker of Chewbacca on it. I miss that old beast, I should get it out of storage and see if it still works.
I heard they’ve got superior color definition and luminosity, true black pixels and zero delay.
They’re definitely worth it to get, as long as you have the space for one. I wouldn’t completely replace your monitor with a CRT though, mine needed some special settings from my graphics card to work correctly (though from what I understand that’s mostly because of DEC trying to be fancy).
Still neat to see Windows 10 on a CRT monitor. I’ve considered getting one from the thrift store for my two modern PCs, one with Windows 10 and the other with Windows 7.
It’s modern Firefox running on modern Windows 10. I would’ve tried running a Windows 95 or 98 virtual machine to make a proper screencap of Derpi running in a 90s web browser, but my virtual machine client didn’t want to cooperate today.
How did make very old browser understand modern versions of https protocol?
Update: I see now, it is Win10, not Win95 actually :D
